Whether it’s a family favorite or a creation with a quirky name that would make Jenna proud, we want to see what sweet pies you’re baking! Our wonderful State Theatre volunteers will bring the most intriguing, submitted recipes to life for a delicious taste test, so all you have to do is share your recipe!
We’ll announce our finalists and crown the winning baker LIVE AT SUNRISE on WFMZ-TV on November 10th!
The sweetest part? Our grand prize winner will receive FOUR tickets to WAITRESS, coming to the State Theatre December 15 & 16! So dust off that apron, grab your rolling pin, and remember… everything changes with a little pie!

Contest Rules: No purchase necessary. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Limit one entry per individual. Recipes must be for sweet pies and use ingredients commonly available at a standard grocery store. All submissions must include a complete ingredient list with measurements, step-by-step preparation instructions, baking temperatures, and baking times. Pies will be prepared by State Theatre volunteers following the submitted recipes. Judging will be based on the finished pie, not the entrant’s baking ability.
